What does the City Leader role involve?

You’ll be overseeing all rental business activity in a major city, leading business development, community relations, team building, and outreach initiatives. So, you’ll need to have a ‘can-do’ attitude, a positive mindset and not be afraid to work under pressure and lead others. 

You’ll also be expected to develop partnerships and use marketing initiatives, so you’ll need to be an enthusiastic, strategic thinker keen to learn something new, even if you don’t have qualifications or experience in these areas.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
  • Manage both our existing sales pipeline and developing new business opportunities
  • Become a subject matter expert on our business products, processes, and operations, and remain up-to-date on industry news
  • Prepare sales contracts, and keep records of sales, revenue, invoices, etc.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field
  • Demonstrated achievement in B2B sales and negotiation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including facilitation of group presentations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, or Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides and industry-specific analysis software
  • Basic understanding of the industry, with the ability to become a subject matter expert on the job
  • Innovation and problem-solving skills 
  • Proficiency with data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting
